Imperiumi is a net site which tells the latest news about metal music bands, reviews albums, DVDs, books and informs about upcoming concerts. There's also a discussion forum. It's not made by a corporation or a company, but a group of metal fans.

It's easy to find who are responsible for the info showing in the site. The web site contains a list of all the makers and their e-mail addresses.
Most of the news is written in English because it's taken straight from the source itself. The sources are trustworthy because usually it's from the band's own web site or their record company's. Sometimes there's also more than a one source. The language in written reviews is in Finnish and in short versions in English. I didn't encounter in any type os so the spelling is good and accurate.

You can clearly see that the site is about heavy metal. The layout is black/grey and the logo is "metallish". The site states that it's specialised in every form of metal and brining different metal fans to their forums. There is some advertising, but it doesn't jump all over your face and it doesn't make it difficult to use. The advertisements aren't that large so they won't distract your navigation.

Strangely the copyright for the site is 2004 (there should be 2008), but the site is updated daily.

It's clear that the site is about rock/metal music. There is a discussion forum, if you disagree something that you have seen or you want to tell about what should be improved.  

All and all the site is very accurate and well shown. It's easy to use and the are no pop-ups or annoying advertisement. You have also a chance to make a difference and help the ones that are responsible to improve the site, by telling them your opinion. The layout could be a bit more colourful, but it's about metal so maybe that's good.
